Erick Weston took over as General Manager of North West Shelf Shipping Services Company (NWSSSC) in August 2013 based in Perth, Western Australia.
Erick is seconded from Shell Trading in London where he was Fleet Manager for the Shell owned and Nigeria LNG owned LNG vessels. He has held numerous positions for Shell in London, Tokyo and Yokohama since coming ashore in 1988 when he was Chief Engineer.
Erick holds a bachelor degree in managing technology from the UK’s Open University, attended INSEAD Business School “International Executive Programme” and holds a UK Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology.
David Cooper joined NWSSSC in July 2016 as Technical Manager. Dave’s team is responsible for the technical and marine assurance of all vessels calling at the Karratha Gas Plant LNG terminal.
Since coming ashore in 2006 Dave has held a number of positions including LNGC Machinery Superintendent, NWSSSC Marine Superintendent and most recently Marine Engineer Technical Authority at Woodside.
Dave holds a Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency, a Bachelors degree with Honours in Marine Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology.
Geoff Adeney joined NWSSSC as the Finance Manager in January 2013. Geoff’s team is responsible for all financial and management accounting reporting, asset and cash flow management, budgets and internal controls, business plan coordination, and oversight of taxation for North West Shelf Shipping, LNG and domestic gas agencies and the Japan representative office.
Since joining Shell Australia in 1981, Geoff has worked in a variety of finance, treasury and governance roles in Melbourne and Perth with his most recent role being Treasury and Governance, Risk and Assurance Manager for Shell’s upstream operations in Perth.
Geoff holds a diploma in Accounting from Swinburne College, Melbourne and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
Nick Poltorak joined NWSSSC in May 2015 as the Commercial Manager. Nick’s team is responsible for the day to day scheduling of the fleet, LNG Vessel Chartering, operational assurance, information technology services and setting the NWSSSC strategy.
Prior to joining NWSSSC, Nick has held a variety of commercially focussed roles for BP including Olefins Supply& Demand Manager, LNG Supply and Scheduling, Gas Origination and LNG Commercial Operations Manager.
Nick is a graduate from Warwick University and is fluent in five European Languages.
Manager - North Asia
Drago Pinteric joined NWSSSC as Manager - North Asia in June 2015. Drago is responsible for the NWSSSC Tokyo Office and the shipping interface with stakeholders at Japanese and Korean terminals.
Drago is seconded from Shell Trading in London where he was Deputy Fleet Manager for a significant portfolio of LNG vessels. Drago previously held the position of Operations Superintendent and Senior Operation Superintendent for Shell in London since coming ashore in 2008 when he was Fleet Master.
Drago graduated from University of Split, Croatia with a degree in Maritime Traffic and holds Master Mariner Certificate of Competency.
